  • Document local LGBTQ history.

  • Create a temporary rainbow crosswalk in downtown Mobile.
  • Create an LGBTQ Health and Wellness Event.

  • Increase LGBTQ visibility in Southwest Alabama.

  • Create a mentoring program for LGBTQ youth.
  • Pass local non-discrimination ordinances for sexual orientation and gender identity or expression.

  • Reach out to other communities and create open dialogues on LGBTQ rights, acceptance, affirmation and discrimination.

  • Educate our community on race issues and intersectionality.

  • Take better care of our LGBTQ elders by making them feel less invisible and by training providers and residents in nursing homes to be more inclusive.

  • Create a sticker program and database composed of LGBTQ accepting businesses in Mobile and Baldwin County.

  • Improve substance abuse awareness and prevention efforts.

  • Improve the relationship between the transgender community and local law enforcement.

  • Create a shelter for LGBTQ homeless youth.

  • Host a class on sexual assault.
